To apply, simply complete and submit the on-line application, and arranging for your official transcripts. We’ll let you know about our decision regarding admission as soon as we receive your documentation and evaluate it.
Applying to the college and applying to a program at the college are two different things.
ADMISSION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF MANITOBA
Applicants seeking to receive credit at the University of Manitoba for courses taught at Booth College (under the Approved Teaching Centre arrangement) must also be admitted to the University. Students who do not meet the admission standards of the University of Manitoba at the time of application to Booth College should note that the completion of a minimum of 30 credit hours at Booth College with a minimum accumulated GPA of 2.5 may provide the basis for admission to the University.
Deadlines
Early Application Deadline: 31 March 2010
Application Deadline: 31 July 2010
Transcripts
You’ll need to arrange for all your official transcripts to be sent to our admissions office, including high school (secondary) and all college or university (post-secondary) records. They should come directly from the issuing institution because transcripts issued to students or other institutions aren’t acceptable. Nor are faxed copies.
If it will take a good while for you to arrange for your official transcripts, you can submit an unofficial version, as long as the official records will follow.
Interim transcripts: Students who haven’t yet completed high school (secondary school) or post-secondary studies should submit interim transcripts indicating credits and grades to date. Then, as soon as you can, send an official transcript with final grades, indicating completion of studies and graduation.
Change of name: Transcripts from other institutions bearing a different name than your current legal one must be verified. To do so, just bring a copy of official government documentation to the admissions office.
Change of Name Transcripts issued from other institutions that bear a different name than the current legal name of the student must be verified by the student providing the admissions office with a copy of official government documentation.
