Christmas BanquetPrinter-friendly version

23 November 2009

Yes, it is a little early for Christmas talk, but hey, we had a fabulous Christmas banquet here at Booth College last Friday! There are pictures posted up on our Booth College page on Facebook to look at!

It was a really interesting experience to be served by our professors and the staff at Booth College while we ate. Dr. Michael Boyce was serving my table and we hardly had to lift a finger! Well, okay, we had to do the actual eating part on our own, but we got our drinks poured for us, coffee served, just everything! It was fun to be the ones “in charge” for once!

Then there was the band. Oh boy, do I ever love those guys! They are called the “Bob ‘Moose’ Jackson Band” and they are fantastic! It is a trio of very talented senior men who have probably been playing their instruments for their entire lives and have some serious skills. They are always a joy to have around at Christmas time.

For those of us who are not too shy, we got our dance on! We had some tunes playing and had some dancing good times! Overall, it was a really great night and we had a lot of fun. I seriously suggest that if you come to Booth College you take the opportunity to come to the Christmas banquets, they’re always a good time!
