She has worked with issues of teen pregnancy, at-risk youth, addictions, single parents, sexual assault, and family violence. She sets high standards for students, empowering and challenging them to maximize their potential by challenging social, cultural and historical values, as well as individual ways of thinking. She encourages creativity and thinking outside of the box in course assignments.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, playing board games, attending dinner theatres, and visiting new places. To relax she enjoys knitting, needlepoint and spending time in natural environments.
